The Cyprus Film Festival takes place in Limassol for three days at the Beach under the stars.
The Red Carpet and Networking event is summery and cozy, creating a unique experience for filmmakers, actors, industry professionals and the audience.
Our purpose is to celebrate the art of filmmaking, the joy of storytelling, and the passion for cinema in an outdoor experience. We bring a diverse range of films to the big screen, complemented by live panels, workshops, industry discussions, and networking opportunities.

Rules & Terms:
IMPORTANT: To be eligible for an award, it is imperative to include the names of the crew and cast who will be nominated in the production credits section of the submission form. For instance, to be considered for the Best Cinematography award, you must clearly specify the individual or team responsible for the cinematography of the film. Failure to provide this information will render the submission ineligible for an award or nomination in the respective category. Ensure thorough and accurate credits to maximize your eligibility for recognition in the Cyprus Film Festival.
Films submitted must be the entrant’s original work and shall not infringe on any copyrights or any other rights of any third parties.
There are no premiere restrictions for the Cyprus Film Festival.
English subtitles are required for non-English films.
Multiple entries from the same submitter are accepted.
Films must have been produced within the last two years.
The festival is open to filmmakers from anywhere in the world.
The decision of the festival selection committee is final.
No fee waivers. All entry fees are non-refundable.
Excerpts from selected films can be used for promotional purposes.
Selection does not guarantee a screening at the main event.
The final selection will be announced on the notification date.
Films violating applicable laws will be disqualified.
The Cyprus Film Festival organizers reserve the right to change, cancel, or reschedule the event, categories, and rules at any time.
The festival reserves the right to withhold any or all prizes if necessary.
Each official selection comes with two free tickets to the festival.
By entering the Cyprus Film Festival, entrants confirm that they have full rights to their submitted films and that they agree to indemnify the festival from any third-party claims.
Failure to adhere to these rules and terms will result in disqualification and forfeiture of the entry fee.
